David Lynch
Frieze Magazine and the Marciano Art Foundation, in collaboration with Kayne Griffin Corcoran, present a conversation with filmmaker and artist David Lynch and frieze senior editor and novelist Andrew Durbin about Lynch’s practice as a fine artist, focusing specifically on his sculpture and painting. Drawing on his new memoir Room to Dream, as well as works being produced for his exhibition at Kayne Griffin Corcoran in Los Angeles and exhibition at Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastrict in 2018, Lynch and Durbin share a wide-ranging conversation about Lynch’s art practice, from his early days at the Philadelphia Academy of the Fine Arts to the present.
